Successful Mother's Day Outreach

On May 10th, a small outreach group from Carr St went into the Brandon House, a place we have frequented that serves women and their children who are fleeing from domestic violence and homelessness. This event was right before Mother's Day, so our goal was to just have fun with the families, and provide something special for the mom's. We took in a professional photo backdrop, a huge supplies of drinks and desserts, and a storage trunk of craft supplies and gave the ladies a chance to take pictures with their kids, we printed them with a mobile printer, and put them in frames that everyone decorated! Unfortunately, for privacy's sake, I cannot post any of the pictures of the families, but here is one shot of our group after it was all finished:
