Toni's Story (and Dance Party Pictures!)

Here is part of Toni's experience from the trip! She has more to come later!

Toni and me at one of the schools
Two days before we left Mexico we performed our last dramas at a colonia. The colonia area that our group went to seemed different. People were living in better homes, because apparently, many people expanded into abandoned areas. During the whole trip God kept telling me to pray... No one left behind.

Toni had many adopted sons on the trip!

When dramas were done during the prayer time, two prayers for healing still stand out. After praying for her, a woman asked us to pray for a boy, either her nephew or brother. She asked Lalo and I to pray for the boy that was about 9 or 10 so he would behave. I remember thinking how he must be feeling so after we prayed we just let him know that God loved him.

During this trip I felt and still do feel blessed to have noticed the people on the outside of the circle, probably wondering if anyone noticed them. I was resting and observing once when Pastor Ben asked if I would come pray with a young woman who had come forward for prayer. Weird. Why would be want me to come pray for her? This young mother was openly nursing her baby. She spoke very good English. Yeah! Kim and I could do this. The baby was beautiful. The mother didn't look over 18.

She didn't need prayers for the baby she was holding. She believed that our prayers could heal the baby at at home who had throat and chest issues. Wow what faith!?! After Kim left I stayed to talk with her some more. It was humbling to see her face when I asked her if she understood the dramas, bondage especially. She said she sort of did. I told her that had been my life. I was always chained to something but until I realized that only Jesus could break the chains and make me white as snow! Only then did i feel loved and at peace. I asked her if I could pray for her for peace. After praying with her I hugged her and reminded her that Jesus loved her and she could be made white as snow too.

More to come from Toni later! Until then- here is some extra pictures of us getting our groove on:
