Post for the day! To give you an idea of what we were up to in Mexico- here is a brief outline of our itinerary, as well as some more awesome pictures!
Wednesday, June 4- TRAVEL DAY, flew into San Antonio at about 2:10, and drove down 2 1/2 hours from there to Laredo, Texas in vehicles we rented. Arrived in Mexico at about 8pm.

Texas Rest Stop- nicest I'd ever seen! |
Thursday, June 5- Morning devotions, and then 3 School Sessions sharing our dramas and encouraging the kids to make good choices. In the evening we went to a Colonia (simply a neighborhood in Nuevo Laredo) and went door to door, practicing our Spanish by inviting the people to come to our dramas!

The first school we went to had the nicest theater I had ever seen in Mexico! |
Friday, June 6- Devos, two school sessions, an orphanage and another colonia!
|
Sharing the Gospel at an orphanage! |
Saturday, June 7- Devos, Neighborhood kids ministry time, and another colonia!
|
Drama team from South Carolina sharing their drama for the neighborhood kids |
Sunday- June 8- Devos, 4 hours of awesome spirit-filled church under the most clouds I have ever seen in Laredo. Then went to some public parks and performed our dramas and shared the gospel. We closed this day off with another colonia! It was bittersweet because we knew this was our last time of outreach!

The group after church |
Monday- June 9- Devos, and then we did work! We sorted, sanded and painted hundreds of pieces of wood for the creation of 50 bunk beds! It was a nice way to end the trip, because a big portion of the missionary life is working hard like this too! Some of the student weren't involved with ministry while we were there, but were off helping poor a foundation for a new church building!

Best guard dog in the world- Mia!!! |
Tuesday- June 10- TRAVEL DAY, Lightning fast look at the Alamo, and the San Antonio Riverwalk before heading home!
|
Back in America headed home to see our families! |
